THE PERSPECTIVE CHANGED EVERYTHING.
Before the camera became the language, Alex understood what it felt like to be in front of it. Working as a model in his early years gave him a different point of view: the pressure of being looked at, the small negotiations of posture and confidence, and the way a room can either give someone permission or close them down. That experience still informs the work. He reads the person, not just the frame.
The image happens before the shutter. In the room, in the pressure, in the read of the person.

Alex’s route into image-making came through the discipline, speed and visual intelligence of the hair world, where finish matters, timing matters and the smallest detail can change the entire image. From salons and collections to backstage environments, campaigns and live creative rooms, the work grew into a broader visual practice: photographer, creative producer and instinctive editor of what a brand should look like.

On a shoot, hair changes constantly. Volume drops, shape shifts, texture moves and the image can lose its force in seconds. As a photographer, Alex reads those changes in real time, knowing when the hair still has energy, when the frame has tension and when the moment is about to disappear. The work is in catching beauty before it settles, while it still feels alive.
